Are you a clear-thinking, hands-on finance professional with the analytical rigor and collaborative spirit to help ensure no one is left behind in a digital world? We are looking for a new part-time Management Accountant to maintain a robust financial engine for Good Things Foundation, turning complex transactional data into actionable operational clarity for our Board, Senior Management Team, and budget holders.
You will be the financial steady hand behind our mission: leading end-to-end management accounting, shaping annual budgets, navigating VAT intricacies, and safeguarding our cash flow and compliance. Working directly alongside our Associate Director of Finance, you will bring commercial precision to everything from project costing and insurance renewals to grant claims and year-end audits. Yet, as part of our close-knit, all-hands finance team, you enjoy the full spectrum of the craft—equally comfortable diving into daily transaction processing and reconciliations as you are delivering high-level variance analysis to senior leadership.
By bringing meticulous attention to detail, proactive continuous improvement, and a supportive, open communication style to our work, you will help stretch every pound further. In doing so, you will ensure our nation’s social infrastructure for digital inclusion remains strong, sustainable, and ready to transform lives for good.
Role description
The Management Accountant will play a vital role in ensuring Good Things Foundation’s management accounting function remains robust, being responsible for the production of accurate, timely monthly management accounts that meet the needs of the Board, Senior Management Team (“SMT”), and budget holders.
Working closely with the Associate Director of Finance, you will assist with annual budget preparation, performance monitoring, and the management of the organisation’s insurance renewals and employee pension schemes.
