Part time (18.5 hours) flexible hours
Salary: £25,955 pro rata
2 Year Fixed Term Contract

The Community Development Worker will be part of the Longley 4G Team. Delivering community work in the Longley and Firth Park areas of Sheffield, this role focuses on supporting and developing community groups, and connecting services.
Using Asset-Based approaches to community development, the worker will mobilize individuals, associations, and institutions to come together to realize, develop, and leverage their collective strengths. The role will:
- Complete asset mapping of both Longley and Firth Park
- Undertake community engagement activities
- Recruit and support the community to deliver activities and establish groups
- Support those community groups to access funds to run their activities.
