About Hope for the Future

HFTF is a dynamic UK charity driving democratic climate action. We equip communities and campaigns to have effective conversations with politicians, tangibly influencing environmental policy.  We need a tech-savvy storyteller and proactive problem-solver to drive digital communications and scale Climate Connect, our digital organising platform.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

We welcome applications from everyone. If you don’t meet every single requirement, please still apply!

The Role

Your time will be split across three core areas:

  • Digital Marketing & Communications: Execute marketing strategies, update our WordPress website, manage email journeys (Ticket Tailor/EcoSend), and supervise a freelance Communications Officer.
  • Individual Giving & Campaigns: Showcase our impact through collaborative storytelling. Supported by the Fundraising Manager, you will lead digital individual giving campaigns, including the Big Give.
  • Climate Connect Platform Growth: Design campaigns to increase platform uptake, assist users, gather impact case studies, and liaise with external web developers on technical updates.

You will have

  • Proven experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and growing audiences.
  • Strong written skills to translate complex data or policy into inspiring, accessible content.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, social media, and email marketing platforms.
  • An organised, flexible approach to managing multiple priorities within a small team.
  • Strategic resilience and a positive, creative problem-solving mindset.

It would be great if you also have:

Experience in individual giving (e.g., the Big Give), marketing digital platforms/apps, or an understanding of UK climate policy and the political system.
