HARC are a registered charity who provide a safe, warm and welcoming refuge for vulnerable people during the festive season.
Every year, we open our door to offer hot meals, warm clothing, companionship and dignity to anyone in need- no questions asked.
This year we will open at Victoria Hall, Sheffield S1 2JB from 25th December 2026 to -30th December 2026.
Because of the long duration of the project in 2026 we propose that 2 people take on this role and job share, agreeing on the division of the hours between them.
Number of working days and hours: To be arranged with Project Managers
Services: In charge of the kitchen and kitchen volunteers, responsible for all food preparation and assist with menu planning and stock control
Fee Rate: £15 per hour for attending training or meetings; £25 per hour on Bank Holiday shift and £20 per hour on non-Bank Holiday shift
Expenses: reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed, with a copy of the receipts provided and given to the bookkeeper
Payment: Upon issue of a timesheet, either by cheque or via BACs
