We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about charities and local communities.
The successful candidate will have the skills and expertise to promote and publicise our most valuable asset the In-volve Community Hub, secure new and ongoing income through room hire, grant and contract funding; enabling the development of activities and services that make a real difference to people living in and around the Foxhill neighbourhood.
They will be responsible for leading and advocating for Foxhill Forum, developing a core offer of support and services, and using their fundraising experience to secure the resources needed to deliver exciting new programmes that respond to local needs.
The role will also involve managing and developing a high-quality volunteer offer, ensuring local people are recruited, inducted and supported to play a positive and active role in Foxhill Forum’s activities, opportunities, local communities initiatives including Pride In Place, Sheffield Family Hubs and local governance.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can work operationally as well think strategically
- Is able to hit the ground running
- Has relevant community development experience
- Has a respectable track record in fundraising and income generation
- Is an effective communicator
- Relishes a challenge and can manage a demanding but rewarding workload
- Is passionate about local charities and community-based support, and can help ensure that Foxhill Forum and the In-volve Community Hub – our most precious and valuable community asset – continues to thrive
