We’re looking for a calm, organised, and proactive person to support a highly functioning professional individual living with an acquired brain injury, ADHD and complex PTSD, to maintain day-to-day organisation, coordination, and household functioning. You would be part of a small team of existing PAs and would receive regular supervision.
The role includes two components:
Practical household support (approx. 3 -4 hrs/week)
Admin coordination (approx. 3-4 hours hrs/week)
(There is the potential for this to be split into two different roles depending on the candidate)
This job will involve:
- Helping maintain a tidy, organised home & garden (including de-cluttering)
- Sorting and filing post
- Weekly planning and organisation
- Keeping tasks on track and followed through
- Admin support (emails, diary management)
- Coordination of others PAs (checking hours and invoices)
Essential skills:
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to create structure, prioritise effectively, and see tasks through to completion
- Proactive and able to use initiative, identifying what needs to be done and take action without prompting
- Receptive to feedback, with the ability to adapt approach and improve performance accordingly
- Clear and confident communicator, willing to ask questions and seek clarification when needed
- Competent in basic IT systems, including Google Drive and calendars
- Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
Desirable experience:
- Experience supporting someone with a neurological condition, ADHD, or similar
- Experience in PA, coordination, or administrative roles
- Practical skills in home organisation, decluttering, or household management
Practical info:
- 8 hours per week
- One regular in-person session (2–3 hours); remaining hours are flexible
- Candidate must be registered as self-employed or willing to register
- Must have an up-to-date DBS check, or be willing to apply for one before starting the role (at a cost of £25)
